    I've never seen reputation listed anywhere in IWD, but if you kill the Elf in the Inn in the Prologue, it says you get -4 Reputation.

    What does that mean?

    You won't see the reputation. Unfortunately it wasn't implemented. Neither was the option to donate money to a temple to raise it (but it is mentioned in the manual). However if you do enough killings you can get your paladin or ranger fallen. But I wouldn't advise it, you'll get the entire town hostile on you. The only difference is Hobart, who you can kill (with a minor drop on reputation, although the guy is evil so this shouldn't be happening). That one can be killed so you can get his Gauntlets of Dexterity.

    You don't need gauntlets of dexterity if you have the cat's grace spell.

    One might say that you don't need to memorize cat's grace if you have Gauntlets of Dexterity. :p
