[IMG] Do I need to worry about any of my mods causing Minsc to leave the party to search for Dynaheir if I don't go about rescuing her in a timely fashion? I'd like to get him into my party early for muscle but I'd rather wait until later for Dynaheir so that I she can know Fireball when she finally joins my little army. Will any of the popular mods cause him to leave?

[IMG] There's a little trick if you pick him up, kick him out the party then get him to join again he won't complain about Dynaheir.

Otherwise I've heard nothing about mods affecting this timer or his reactions.

Great. I'm leaving Beregost now and headed to Nashkel. It'll be good to round out the party with a strong sword arm. Thanks for the tip.

Does Minsc not turn hostile if Dynaheir is ignored for long enough? My memory is a bit hazy on this.

[IMG] Yup, hence the little trick to bypass that :D It's a timer that's cancelled out when he leaves the group if I remember rightly.

BG1NPC wipes out that timer, and Kivan's, so that extended content can play without the original timer kicking in. Works great for those long multi-modded BGT sessions, where it takes an immense amount of playtime before you actually complete one of their quests (Kivan could easily leave before you make it to Mulahey, let alone Tazok, otherwise :) )

He I didn't know that! I thought I remembered Kivan to skip my party once or twice back in the nineties :p
