    LMAO....

I have an old PATA HD that is 250GB with 16MB Cache and it runs Vista just fine. I find that having good RAM and a Dual Core CPU above 2.0GHz is more important in running Vista than the HDD.

I am considering selling my current PC and building a new system with the following items...

    AMD Phenom II 720 BE
    790GX Mobo
    8GB of 1066/1333 DDR2 RAM
    3 500GB HDD 32MB of Cache
    2 4830 or 4850 in crossfire or a 4870
    22" LCD 1080P Monitor
Wired MultiMedia Keyboard and Laser Mouse
    24 in 1 Multimedia reader
    SATA - DVD Burner
    SATA - 4x Blu-Ray Drive
Windows Vista 64 Home Edition Premium

This whole setup will cost me under $1500 with shipping

If you are going that route make sure the SSD drive is SLC and not a MLC drive; MLC drives are slower than SLC drives.

    :jawdrop: Wow....just.....wow. :jawdrop:

You have no idea how much effort it's taking to resist the urge to fly to the UK and steal that thing! (I could fly in 1st class for the price of 24 SSDs :p )
