    While you're at it, raise another glass in proxy for old LKD, as I don't drink alcohol. I am, however, wearing green. So any color-blind fool who pinches me gets a knee to the tenders.

    With one of my local clubs making it to the All Ireland hurling final I headed to Croke Park to watch our gaelic games. They got absolutely massacred but that was as expected. They were a limited enough side who benefitted from a lop sided draw. They were nowhere near the class of the opposition.

    The football was at least a contest, though the standard was poor enough with lots of fouling.

    I forgot again just how cold it gets. That stadium seems to act as a funnel for the wind.
