    So my instructor just turned us on to Micorsoft DreamSpark. If you have a .edu email address though your school, you verify yourself, and then you can get access to some really sweet software for free.

    Virtual PC
    Windows Server 2003
    Windows Server 2008
    Visual Studio 2005 Pro
    Visual C++ 2008
    Visual C# 2008
    SQL Server

    When I was in school, less than 2 years ago, I didn't need a school account. In fact, Microsoft offered some of these programs 100% free; however, the software had NO SUPPORT and NO HELP feature built into it.
