    As I was having fun, reading some strange articles and the sarcastic posts that go along with it on a website favorite of mine (Fark), I came across this article. I'm still a little bit in shock and keep bouncing between laughter and incredulity every time I re-read this.

    What is the point? Really... I can see that this is going to be huge for virtual sex (pie or no pie). But what's next? Smelling? I mean with smart phones, skype and integrated sensory systems we'll only lack the sense of smell (and taste possibly).

    Back in the 80s we would picture flying cars in the 2000s...

    And what do we get? Wearable robots? All I wanted was a freaking jetpack! :rolleyes:

    It's all well and good, until someone figures out a way to hack it and cause it to squeeze someone to death. I can't wait to see that episode on "Law and Order" :)

    I was watching 'Beyond Tomorrow' awhile ago and they had a segment on virtual taste machines that replicate the feel and taste of biting into an apple.
