Nymph cloak? Can't wear it as Wizard Slayer/Mage?

    Why does the game give you an item of urgent need that you can't even use?
    I was playing a Wizard slayer dueled to a mage and it wont let me wear the cloak?
    Nymph cloak at the test of fear is what I'm referring too.

    Thankfully Jan has resist fear. But that just doesn't make sense. Does it?

    Sure he's a wizard slayer and they can't NORMALLY wear cloaks but this should have been an exception. Like the amulet of the Seldarine.

    Wizard Slayer can't use magic items that are not armor or weapons.

    I have no idea how it is even possible to dual to mage. That defies the WS purpose.
    Dunno what BG:EE devs were smoking.

    My cavalier can just walk down the path without the cloak and pick the tear but it still counts like I took the evil path. I would think someone would have fixed this by now.

    Why not? A Dualled WS/Mage could easily be an Avenger-style character who slays Evil Mages for example. Can you say Irenicus...:D

    It counts as the evil path only when you accept the nymph cloack from the demon. If I refuse and walk down to the tear, I get the good reward. If you accept the nymph cloack, however, even if you don't use it in the end, you still get the evil reward.

    At least I've never noticed it working differently.

    You accept the cloak you accept the consequences. Just like if you accept black razor and do not use it you still get the evil reward.
