What happens to the one left behind?

    Remove all ads!
    Once you get Imoen back you have to make room for her into your party. If you were using Yoshimo there's no problem. But if you already have a full party (no Yoshimo) what happens to the one left behind to make room for Imoen or to Imoen if you leave HER behind?

    Unless you tell them to go back to the copper coronet/athkatla, you won't be able to revisit spellhold and thus lose them forever.
    Just to be on the safe side i allways take yoshimo with me to spellhold.
    He will die there anyway, so the spot he frees up i can fill with imoen, it also gets you yoshimo's heart, good for some exp if you keep it with you and bring it to a temple in the slums later on.
    Or failing that just go there with 1 free space in my party before sailing there. :p

    I always take Yoshi too but this time I'd like to use someone else for his slot but am not sure if I should.
    How can you tell them to meet back at the CC? If they can get there why can you? Lol.

    Because they're obviously better than you, you silly little half-god, you. :shake:

    But yeah, it's always bothered me as well, which is why I give all of my companions the ability to provide you with an alternate route off the island.

    Edit: I made that sound like I've created a bunch of them. It was a total of two that were complete to the point where they had actual conversations. :p

    if you boot them from the party they should ask you if they should stay where you are, or if they should return to athkatla - ie jan jansen returns to his home, anomen returns to the copper coronet, etc.

    If you want to keep your party as it is, you could also tell Imoen that you have no space for her and she'll go back to the CC, if I'm not mistaken. I always just assume she follows the party, lounging back while you clear the way for her.

    Though it does fall apart a bit in that it would be more in character for most of the NPCs to either jump in with fighting or to at least give snarky comments from the back. But then again, the 6 person limit is also a bit arbitrary, so it falls apart there already.
