is that lina inverse i see in your party ? :p
    • SlickRCBD
      Yes, it is.
I found a soundset for Lina years ago, it's still on Fileplanet, although misfiled for BG1. I then found a portrait for her too.
At least I think I found it on fileplanet, I just did a Google search for it as I couldn't remember where it came from. I thought it might have been from Planet Baldur's Gate.

@SlickRCBD Is the soundset from the english dub or from the original japanese audio ? i really like Slayers, but the dub really doesn't do it for me to be honest. :p
Could be nice to use whenever i do another bg2 playthrough, there's also a pretty nice 'realistic' image of lina on deviantart by Dancinfox i could use as a portrait.
Though i'd kind of want to take along Gourry as well if i'm going to have Lina in my party.. :D

Dub. I've actually never seen the dub, only the subs, so I didn't recognize the voices at all.

@SlickRCBD yea, i've never watched the dubs either, but judging from the snippets I've come across on YouTube - it's just not for me.
I almost always feel like english dubs don't quite fit the animation, making it seem disjointed somehow.

All too often I've found that the dubs are censored, while the sub is uncensored or at least less censored.
I find censorship to be the dirtiest word of them all.

Other than that, I find a good quality dub to be easier to watch than a sub, especially if you have to pay attention to visual details. With subs, I often miss things because I'm busy reading the subtitles. Also sometimes I can have trouble keeping up with them when they flash too quickly, although that is mostly a problem with bootleg fansubs for series not yet officially brought over to the U.S. It's been a while since I saw those, but back in the late '90s and early 2000's...

@SlickRCBD I really have no problem keeping up with subs and what is on the screen at the same time, it probably helps that over here in the Netherlands we don't dub most of the TV-shows, so pretty much everything that's English spoken gets subtitled anyway. (some exceptions being kids cartoons, which will get dubbed over in dutch) So I've grown accustomed to watching subbed programs from a young age - that might also be where the preference for subs over dubs comes from. :)
