AFter raising my XP to meet this requirment and downloading the mage zip files to my override folder, shouldn't I be able to memorize this spell in mage book? When playing the game I do not have these spells so what am I doing wrong?

  2. You can only cast level 8-9 spells from scrolls. Doesn't ANYONE on this board read thier manual?

Wait a while though, and someone will proably come up with a hack that will alow you to do it.

[IMG] To the guy how wrote about a manual, I live in Russia and I can buy a game for ~2$ per disc, it is a piret (illegal) version (however sold on every corner openly), and it has no manual.

[IMG] There is also a hack available that will enable you to write these in your spellbook. I believe you can find it within Sorcerers.net.

    Cheers!

    Lord Bladuran...
In the How manual (page 40)
You can memerize level 9 spells starting on level 18 and level 8 spells on level 16. So im pretty sure you can write level 8 and 9 spells in your book without a hack.
Im about to try it. I have a level 19 mage in How, but i haven't found a level 8 or 9 scroll but when i do...
