Alternative sources to download Trials of The Luremaster?

    Currently, I'm armed only with a 56k modem and it's a nightmare trying to download anything from fileplanet much less a progamme 70+mbs big.

    I wait for about 4 hours through a line and finally get to download, only to download around 6 mbs before I get disconnected. It's not like fileplanet allows the use of Download Accelerator or such programmes either.

    That being said, I was wondering if anyone can point me to another source to download ToTL if one does exist?

    [​IMG] Trapspringer, and your point is? You're talking about FP to which I don't even link on SP... The download link on SP leads you to a page with 4 direct mirrors.

    Tal, it's tough getting a 70meg download. Especially with dialup, if you're not using a resumable ftp.

    I had some trouble waaaaaay back when it was released. And that alone made me paranoid enough to burn it to cdr before I even installed it.

    I found another solution all together! Now, be warned, this may require you to wait a day or two for the file. I had problems downloading TotL, it finally took me 8 hours or so to download. What I did was I had a friend download it for me. It took him 26 minutes. He then burned the file onto a cd for me. Another good thing about this is if you ever have to reformat your computer, uninstall and reinstall the game, etc, you have the file on a cd!
