Greetings and well met, Can anyone tell me how to get my monk to attack with both fists? I have ambidexterity, but the only way I can get her to attack with two weapons is to use the kama. I just want to use fists. Is there any way to do this? Thank you much. Diedra Darkmoon

That's an interesting question. I would guess that you can't, because how would the game know when you wanted to incur the two-weapon fighting penalties and when you didn't?

AFAIK the only way it knows is when you put a weapon in your shield slot.

According to the information in the 3E players handbook, and what's included in the game, flurry of blows is basically the equivilant of a monk dual wielding with both fists. You get an extra attack per round, but you suffer -2 on both attacks, the same as if you were dual wielding with a light weapon, ambidexterity, and two weapon fighting. So unless you wanted to dual wield with your fist and another weapon, or two weapons as one normally would, the ambidexterity feat really doesn't do your monk any good. Flurry of Blows == Dual Wielding with Fists. Hope that clears it up.

Well dang, looks like I wasted a feat. I guess what confused me is that the D&D 3rd edition character generator that came with the players handbook lets you assign fists as both weapons and gives you an extra attack and the approapriate penalties. (yes I have the generator patched) Well, thank you for the replies, I appreciate it!
