I would have to give it an 8. I would of given it a 9 if it did not lock up so much.

[IMG] speaking on whether it is worth it or not, what videocard would you recommend for the game and how much hard drive space does it take up?

[IMG] I personally think the single player game is a little weak. I think the real strength in this game will be multiplayer with some good DM-ing!

I'm looking forward to trying out NWN in ALFA in September...I think the game will be a whole lot better in Multiplayer!!!

I believe it takes up 1.2 GB and 2.0 GB is recommended.

    i agree with Sir Belisarius
the one player is crap/ or not so good depends how you play but the real fun comes with the multiplayering. as long as you dont get a bad server...

Well, I think that its worth the cash, even if the SP campaign is a little lacking. There are already some good user-made modules avaliabe.

[IMG] Depends on how much money you have. If you can only buy one game for the next 2-3 months or so I'd say NWN is not worth it. If however you have money enough to buy a new game every month then why not.

Be warned that the SP campaign is not good - as some others have already pointed out. After a while I felt the game actually was a waste of time, which is just as important as if you have the money to buy it.

I'd say it's not worth it because the release is just too buggy. It doesn't work with a LOT of users, even ones who meet, or exceed, the hardware requirements. And while some of the problems have been solved, not nearly all of them have, and many users who complain to tech support or the self-help tech support forum at bioware(or infogrames for the tech support itself) are being told that there's nothing wrong with the computer, and that it's their fault, or that their computer isn't good enough, even if it exceeds all the requirements.

[IMG] Well guys I am running NWN on a Dell 2gig with a GeForce4 (64meg card) and have not had any problems. However, I did load it on my old PIII 650 and it ran like &#!%. On the game itself, I was very impressed with the graphics (see above), but you better have a rig that can handle it, I thought the graphics on Baldurs was fine for me.
The critcal part of any game is playabilty. I like the interface on NWN. I have resoved the disease quest at NW...It was OK. So far I would Rate NWN at 8.0

This hasn't been pointed out. Note, if you do not have a broadband internet connection, then internet play sucks! The Gamespy servers oftentimes don't work properly and the game is quite crashprone in that mode. Unlike the others here, though, I've never had any problems in SP mode.
