[IMG] Loved the game. Took a long time (realtime & BG time - 143 days!) but I did alot of the sub quests & I hit most of the maps. Thanks for posting the manual. Also, I tried to keep away from the spoilers as much as possible.

It would be nice for a feature at the end the game where you could play bakc the last battle since it goes by pretty fast & Saravok is dead before you know it.

You can always just fight the final battle again, there an autosave just before you enter.

BG2 will take you longer if you give it a go.

Well done! Im currently going through her for the 8th time (I think, gets fuzzy after the first three games), I can never get bored of it.

Like apeman said, best game ever made, or is it? Try BGII NOW!! IMO its better than BGI...

Bah, it took me about three years to finish it, simply because I kept leaving it and coming back.

I've started BG 2 now. Expect me to have grey hair, teenage children, a mortgage and an interest in lawnmowers by the time I finish that.

Yeah, I'm terrible at finishing games, too. I don't think I ever got through one IE game, though I own & love them all. :heh: Planescape: Torment especially seems awfully long. But I'm determined to make it through BG this time. Really. Oh, and hiyas all, new around here.

I found BG2 a lot quicker to complete than BG1, but by then you have the hang of the basic rules, the little tweaks that make it easier and usually a fairly powerful premade character. This will make things considerably easier and I completed BG2 in about a week using my highly overplayed thief (With whom I completed BG1 six times, getting every manual every time. Needless to say he was fairly powerful; DEX 25 etc without even cheating.)

For BG2 Going all the way through a romance will extend the game, but can make it very tedious, say no more.

I found BG2 to be more addictive than BG1 yet I finished BG1 more than once and intend to do it again this time, then export to BG2.
