    Dear Receiver

You have just received an Irish virus.

    This is a MANUAL virus.

Please delete all the files on your hard disk yourself and send this mail to

I heard about that one! It was on channel 97 last night right? Five of my friends computers got completely cleared after opening one of those.

You could also type the following into your command line:

    format C: /u.

Seriously, though, wouldn't you have to be an idiot to fall for this?

I've heard of this, too. Except it's called the AMISH virus, not the Irish virus. It was a picture file of a woman dressed like a pilgrim with the words "Ye hast recieved the Amish virus. Since we have no computers or technology, ye are on the honour system. Please send this to everyone in your address list, change your homepage to some porn site, and delete everything on your hard drive. We thank ye verily."

Now that is the kind of virusses which I can appreciate. :) Not the ones who make your comp visit hardcore anal porn site at the most random intervals. That just made me unplug my connection with the internet. Try explaining that to your Grandma when you're teaching her how to handle a computer :D
