[IMG] Since it seems to be music week on here, what is the best album ever made?

For me without a shadow of a doubt it has to be:

    Pink Floyd - The Wall.

I bought it when it came out and I still find it great to listen to 20+ years later. Just alround great music.

Did I mention that the film is excellent too? :)

[IMG] I LOVE 'The Wall' ! And the concerts seem to have been great too; the fake wall in front of the stage, the animations, the puppets, everything :D. I wish I could have attended one. The only problem is that I wasn't even born then. Damn, all the good stuff were done by the time I was here :(.

Anyway, best album - for me at least - was 'Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow' their first one. Well, I could also settle for 'Deep Purple in Rock' I guess. :)

[IMG] pffff... hard to pick one album of about 20 almost even on the top of my list
Depending on my today's mood i choose Neil Young - Harvest

  4. Rage Against the Machine's self titled debut album. Perfect. I can listen to it straight through and not skip a single track.

    Just Kidding....

This may be the hardest question ever posed on Sorcerer's Place...Just one, eh.....

I guess I'd go with Led Zeppelin IV too, I never get tired of it. That's what I used as my gauge - An entire album that I never get tired of listening to.

Mollusken, if I remember correctly, you are from Norway. Is this some folkmusic maker or what? I think the Danish ones stink, so I can't imagine someone singing in norwegian. :D

Bellisarius, my mother actually go that one! :)

I really like Ash - 1977. Track 3 and 7 (Girl from Mars and Oh yeah) are amazing.

[IMG] Grovlab, did you ever heard one of the albums of dimmu borgir? I can't understand a single word of what they say, but I have to say it sounds great. But you have to like Metal for that ;)

Best album: And Justice For All - Metallica

(And Lars Ulrich can kick himself for being such a little annoying bastard)
