Nah, it's good when people have lot's of likes and dislikes. One film i forgot to mention is that i really did enjoy D&D the movie for some reason...maybe because of the special effects :hippy:

Thank you Z-Layrex, my slightly erratic approach has been vindicated by the creator of the topic.

Favorites - Crouching Tiger, Star Wars, LoTR, Saving Private Ryan, Shawshank Redemption, Dead Poets Society, Top Gun, Tomestone

Worst - Friday 13th (after about the third one, they just got stupid), Nightmare on Elm Street (after the first one), Top Secret, the Batman movie with Mr. Freese (really sucked)and Tomcats (waste of five dollars, although Shannon Elizabeth was hot).

Hmm, hard to pick just one for each:

Right now.. favorite movie: Unforgiven (or at any given point, Brazil, Blade Runner, Dead Man, Fight Club, American Beauty or Memento, or any other dozen movies I can think of offhand.)

Incidently I was pretty impressed by some of the stuff people came up with, I didn't expect to see the Kurosowa movies up there.

for the Bad... heh I love bad movies, even if they don't love me. I can't name just one: The Patriot, the Postman, Eye of the Beholder (woo! Bel I sat through that one too!), Battlefield Earth was every bit as bad as they said it was, End of Days, Empire Records, the Saint (gut retchingly awful), Broken Arrow, Batman and Robin, The Avengers, the U.S. verson of Godzilla, oh digging up all these memories is making me sick I have to stop.

Hard one... Based on the times I've seen it, probably Predator.

Can't remember bad ones, I tend to forget them. Maybe Robocop 3, that was certainly an experience.

By the way, I like Batman & Robin. It has Arnold. And lots of action. Etc. Then again, I like Waterworld too. And yes, I have them both on tape. And I don't care what you think about it :p

The best would have to be "Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail" and the worst probably "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas". Not the cartoon thats a classic the one with Jim Carey didn't laugh once. Also I hate most action movie they are way to predictable.

Favourite movie: Aguirre, wrath of god - not just cos of the storeis of fights between the director and star - both slightly on the wrong side of madness/genius...

Worst movie: titanic - saw it the other day. I know tolkien liked it, but that doesn;t make it any good...

Best: As always, it's hard to name only one, but these are really, really good:
The Seven Samurai and Yojimbo (by Kurosawa)
    LotR: FotR
    Le Pact des Loups
    Monty Python's Holy Grail

Worst: Back to the future 3 and Plan nine from outer space
