Forgotten Realms Maps Etc

    Greetings.

    I'm fairly new to the FR setting, having read some of the Drizzt books and played Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale. I'm looking for a background pack, but dont see a Forgotten Realms 3rd Edition Campaign Setting listed. To find out more do you think I should get the old 2nd Ed Campaign Settting, or is there an unofficial pack available? I'm reading as much as I can, but really want a nice set of maps so I can get the "big picture"! :)

    Actually there is a FR campaign setting for 3rdE. There's averything you want to know about the FR in there.

    I would have bought it, but I didn;t have any money.

    The Forgotten Realms Campaign Settings is a great book. It is a bit expensive but when I bought it I wasn't dissapointed. The best of my rulebooks. My advice to you all: Buy it.

    I have that book, and it came with a large map, tear-outable in the back. I also got a suplement called the "Unaprocable East" and has a bunch of stuff on Thay and Rashemen and most of the east. I'd asume there is stuff for ever region, but the core book is the best.

    Yes, I went to amazon using the provided link, but actually used their "buy it used" service, so maybe I dont get a portrait?

    Afraid not. The percentage I get from used sales is rock-bottom, and the used books are even cheaper than regular, so it amounts to literally nothing in the end.

    FRCS might be the coolest gadget I ever bought. I can hardly imagine someone would sell it when (s)he's seen it! This person must have been in a terrible need of money!
