What is the longest continuous period of time you have ever played BG? I think my max time was a stretch of about 6.5 hours, at which point my eyes were dry and bloodshot, and my knees stiffened up. Not good.

[IMG] Weakling :p :D When I started BG-2 SoA that was at 18:00 on a friday and iirc played continuously till saturday evening around 22:00 - only with a few food and coffee pauses.
But I have a comfy chair at my desk ... and against everything Tal claims to know a good screen and a trackball, that helps ;)

Hmm, how about this? 11 hours per day for 2 weeks straight? This was done back during my summer off of college and was my first time through the game.

On the first day I got it I played from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM on the next day without counting breaks :coffee: .

In one of my summer vacations I had a job, the last two weeks when I stopped working I had far too much energy. I spent 36hrs playing the game with food and drinking breaks.

I'm already too old for that...

My personal best is 32 hours with drink&go-to-bathroom breaks and it was some 5 years ago on Warcraft 2.

My most recent was beating BG2 (finished all the quests I could except romance and stronghold) in 2 days real-time (approx. 35 hours of play)...

How can you play a game for 30 hours non-stop? I'd have hard time staying awake for that long.

[IMG] it demands endurance, discipline, high pain-tolerance, caffeine and an iron will. :p

You forgot to mention love for the game!

Anyway, I don't drink coffee, coke or energy drinks so no cafeine from my side.

Lots, lots of coffee and redbull, the rest isn´t important

Not suggestable: 7 cans of redbull in 3 minutes, makes you go like Guybrush Threepwood in Escape from Monkey Island "Wwwhheeee, it´s like I drunk an entire coffeeplantage, with donkeys and all!!"
