Basically I'm keeping it simple. I have a Monk about level 30 100% legit. Anyhow, I load the saved game into Shadow Keeper, and than all I want to change is the walking speed from 2 to 4 (I believe) and increase the number of attacks from 4 to 5.

The problem is, I load up this edit in a number of ways and both the walking speed and number of attacks remain the same. I know I'm not doing something right I just don't know what...my first time really using Shadow Keeper.

    Help please!

Hmm, it should work. Is it possible you are reloading the original saved game and not the edited version? The edited version should have the same name plus a numeric extension like 0001.

Example: Save a game called "savedgame." Open and edit it in SK. Save "savedgame" with SK. You can name the file anything you want to in SK, but the default will be something like "savedgame 0001." Load "savedgame 0001" in BG2, and you should see the edited values. If you name it "savedgame" it will not replace the old one, but create a second saved game with the same name. Both will be accessible from the load screen.

If that doesn't work, shut down BG2 before working in SK. Before restarting BG2 and loading your edited game, delete the "data" file from your cache (program files \ black isle \ BGII \ cache \ data). This step doesn't normally help, but it might. Better yet, just try using Near Infinity instead of SK.

Are you sure that you are changing the right attributes? I've never had problems with it.

Yes, I'm positive I am doing it right. I've figured out the movement speed problem...going from 2 to 4 made it difficult to detect a difference with the human eye.

But I don't understand the Number of attacks problem. Is it a problem with Monks or something?

It ALWAYS remains at 4 attacks per round no matter what I do. I check the player information and it still says 4 attacks per round...could it have changed but just not be displayed in the character info?

Will somebody do me a favor and check to see if they can change a Monks attacks per round to 5 and that it is displayed in the character info page? I have the latest version of BGII, and Shadow keeper so I don't know what the problem is. No mods installed either, other than level 50 patch.
