I want to play all mods together, this includes TDD, SOA, NEJ, BG + Totsc and BG II + Tob and lots of more mods all together, but what must i do, because it is all very confusing.

You need the Big Picture mod. Sorcerer's Place has a link to information on that here:

    http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/index_editors7.php

The Forgotten Wars site also has a link to the BP-BGT edition, which you might like since it lets you play BG and TotSC in the BG2 engine. I'm playing that right now, and it's rather enjoyable. However, be sure to find every Installation guide you can to that monster, since it might take a couple of tries to get it to go. One thing to be SURE to do is to run (and this will make sense later) BP_S_and_H_Patch to prep WeiDU before you do the full install. You'll get this advice from one of the install guides.

    Anyway, good luck!

Yeah first it isn't too easy to understand how to install all that stuff, use a guide.
The files you plan to download are very huge, use my server to download them: http://www.sorcerers.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?/topic/10/4044.html

Have fun with the mods, it is worth to suffer so much with installation, you will see!

    Oops!

I forgot (no pun intended) that the Forgotten Wars site has changed its name to Spellhold Studios. Look it up at

Check Spellhold Studios (BP + Baldur's Gate Trilogy Section) It points you to where you can download the components and gives you various guides to make setting it up easy.

Best bet would be to wait and watch its development as the modders there are making it all weidu based.

There are still things i don't understand.
1: Do i have to put my install in drive c, can't i just put the install of BG + BG II in the same folder?
2: are only the mods named in the install list appliable?

I would seriously recommend playing BGTUTU and then BG2 with mods.
When using BG2 with mods and the big picture is doable but not without it's errors. When using BG, there are so many things that can go wrong. I tried it, completed it (it is possible mind you) but it left me a little frustrated because it was so very, very buggy.

I put BGI in C:/Baldur so that i went along with the guide but i suppose you can put it anywhere as long as you can point the installer to it. Likewise the BGII installation/mods can be anywhere. I have them under 'Baldurs Gate Trilogy' on a removable drive.

As far as i know only the mods listed in the BigPicture161G_Manual are in use, you can add others to it but you'd need to check if they're compatible either in the included list or ask in the forums.

BP-BGT in its most used incarnation is buggy as hell but like i said the modders at spellhold studios seems to be fixing most of that and making a far simpler and stabler release.

Well, i decided to only play Big Picture, so i installed all the things on the list, one by one.
But when the game is just about to start it freezes and nothing happens.

I had the same thing first time i tried, uninstalled/deleted and started from scratch.

I wouldnt start picking and choosing with this thing, install the lot go along with the automatic install guide.

barring some incompatibility or major mistake during installation it should work fine.

Three words: Use the Auto-Installer (okay, technically that's four, but I count hyphenated words as one word, okay?).

Check the installation guides for help. Get more than one, and make sure you do everything that's recommended. Surf around the forums at Spellhold Studios for advice. Most people have been in your situation before, that much is for sure.

Im definetly gonna check alot more on other big picture, trilogy mods forums and stuff. But i was wondering if any of you guys have experienced this problem : I followed the Guide from Dragonshoard, and downloaded it from there as well. But when i launch the BG 1 from SoA it plays the BG 1 prologue, and when i press "Done" it just closes Baldurs Gate, have anyone got any advice for me?

I think that when using XP installing BGT you need to use %20 for spaces, otherwise it wont find the route...

    ...is that right?
