[IMG] I know I'm not the only one who has problem with the EAX/Enviromental Audio option for "the games ( ) ", and as such I don't think I have to describe the problem extensively. Has anyone found a way to fix this?!

(For those of you who don't know, the problem is that the audio for all party commands and other and all sounds besides music skips, is delayed, or simply disappears.)

I posted a thread about this not long ago so it should still be down the page of recent topics. Just turn it off, that fixed the problem for me.

Yeah, I know that you can turn it off, of course. It would just be nice to actually have it working in at least one game.
BTW, does anyone know what this actually does?

(Oh, and TrueBlueAussie; I've checked the forum, and I couldn't find it, at least.)

It was on about the third page in the ToB forum.
I can say from experience that EAX pretty much does bugger all. On my old pc I had it switched on and the character sounds were still playing great and when I changed over to this pc, and had to turn it off, it still sounds exactly the same.
