[IMG] OK I trust you all know which mods I have, I have lots so I doN'T want to write the list again.

This time, I have found new mods, I wanna install them all. Here is a list:

    -Acidelementalsit kit
    -Auramaster kit
    -Azengard tactical encounter
    -EnhanCed SoA
    -KitPack
    -RTT(Return to Trademeet) kit pack
    -Natural Selection
    -Victor's BG2 improvements
    -Wild mage mod
    -Turnip Golem encounter
    -Calculator
    -Eldoth
    -Every mod and dog
    -Potion quest
    -Market Prices quest
    -Chosen of Mystra random encounters
    -KR's difficult Brown Dragon
-Spell Pack (20 MB, adds cool new spells, like those in IWD series and more)
    -Virtue
    -DQuestPack
    -Refinements
    -D0tweaks

I guess this is it. I intend all those for moy next run. I am currently playing my Deuidic Sorcerer and godlike party in ToB, we will challenge Imp.Sendai and we will see what happens.

So I am close to finishing ToB, should I install all these mods before starting my next run?

Also, will there be a conflict/bug? Is there an order I should heed? I guess they are all WEIDU, and no, I will not install anything if it comes out to be non-WEIDU.

I need your ideas. I want to add these babes to my collection! Please help me OK?

This isn't going to work. I'm pretty sure if you use more than 88 mods at once, you get sent back in time.

@warmonger: DQuestPack is found at PPG Some of the others you probably can find at Black Wyrm's Lair.

I reached all of these from here:
    http://modlist.pocketplane.net/

Seriously though, should I install them ASAP or wait for my new run?

    Will it cause bugs/nasty things?

    Please?

EDIT:I also decided to use Zyraen's misc. tweaks, mainly for fast Ust Natha and better bard spell progression at high levels. Will bard progression cause bugs as I also have EoU'S bard tables, will they be overwritten correctly? HELp!

Why not just duplicate your current installation and install those mods on one of them? If it messes up, delete the entire installation and just play off the old one. I've done this a few times and it works just fine.

Hmm how can I duplicate installation?

Copy ALL BG2 files seperately to another place? Ugh this sounds sick.

    @$ilvershield,

 That list is only newest mods I want to install for the next run. I already have a list of mods MUCH longer than this, so I fear if they will cause bugs or not?

Lol i can only imagine that list!!! If you could, would you be able to email the entire list to me! :D

But I agree, wouldn't such an amount of mods and add ins cause at least some types of bugs??? Because I love my game too much to ruin it!

Really, what do you expect us to tell you? :bad:

There's 22 mods on that list. If you had another 22 installed on top of that, that's something like a thousand possible conflicts that might occur. Go through whatever readme there is for each one, see if there are any known issues. Beyond that, use common sense... if you're trying to install two mods that do different things to the same game files, then that's potentially a problem. And definitely back your game installation up before trying to dump another two dozen mods onto it.

Sure. Open up Windows Explorer, select your Baldur's Gate 2 directory, hit ctrl+c, browse to wherever you want to dump a copy of it and hit ctrl+v. Wait about ten minutes, done.

Will it work? I am not an expert of Windows, but I fear it may cause new problems.

I have BG2 installed in D folder, should I dump the copy into C folder? THEN, if something horrible happens, restoring the game again by copying pasting the original one work? Should I completely delete the troubled BG2? Will save games still be usable in the corrupted BG2 in case I progress in the game without knowing it was buggy?

You can put the copy wherever you like, I have a folder in my hard drive's root that I put backups of programs in.

If something goes wrong after you install the mods, delete everything in your main Baldur's Gate 2 directory and then paste the contents of the backup directory in place of it. Carry on from your backed up saves, if there are items or things from any of the mods you delete in your latest saved games then you'll have problems.

(Probably the only files you really need to back up are your saves, your override directory, .bifs and your dialog.tlk, but I'm not certain so I'll just say do the whole lot.)

^I've insatlled at least 2 mods that affect bard's spells and so far, so good. Haer'Dalis on level... 24? Is able to cast some 7th spells.

Correctly installed mods doesn't cause serious problems. It's rather because of big ones, such as TDD or BGT. Usually, reinstalling them all solves problem instantly (it may took another hour,m however :p ).

Today I realized I'm unable to rest in modded Planar Sphere on main floor. When I go lower, even more strange things happen. But I'm sure I will solve them by tomorrow.

OK then I will install some of them, but not necessearily all.

    @Warmonger

The reason you can'T rest in PS may be as the tutors and teachers use heavy spell-casting all over the place, making it very hard to rest in PS.
Did you talk to the Rakshasa guy who sells neat stuff? You can rest via his rooms.

^I've already killed Vecna's Shade (althought I was forced to fight unfair :/), so there is nothing that might disturb me.
When I rest on the main floor, game crashes.
When I rest in lower floor, Imp doesn't let me to do so. Or some guy asks me for help and I'm unable to refuse, then he teleports me into a solid material and I'm stuck.
I hope I would be able to rets in Navigator's room.

^Ugh this is weird happenings indeed. Sorry, mods can do such things.

If you can'T rest, you can use Olimikrig's special potion of resting. He was so kind to e-mail me that potion as I had a similar problem of being unable to rest, the potion worked like a charm! Olim has great skill in modding! :thumb:
