[IMG] I'm running a Cleric of Talos for the first time. Any sugestions for running an evil character?

This is my first time at not being a good character, I plan on having Edwin, Viconia, and Korgan in my party, any other suggestions? Like Jan maybe.

This all new to me, and I have wanted to do Bhodi's quests, and this is my chance.

Viconia, Edwin, Korgan, Sarevok, Jan and you a cleric.
Sound's like a balanced party to me!

I was also interested in tactics. Like how to do some quests. Only example I can think of right now is that merchant being harrassed at the city gates. Instead of telling him to leave him alone, I would encourage him to kill him. And the pit fights at the copper corenet.

Well, you should chose evil dialog option's and not help anybody if they don't offer a satisfactory reward..... but you should know, that if you play evil you might not get some item's or something, playing evil isn't as rewarding as playing good....
More tips: if sombody offend's you, or you don't like him, kill him. If you're reputation get's to high, butcher some peasant's. And steal from shopkeepers....

I took an evil Cleric through the original BG and then as a Preist of Talos through BG2 but I dualled him at level 14 to a mage. (On a side note he has awesome stats after being through BG, SoA and Watchers Keep: Str: 19, Dex 16, Con: 20, Int: 20, Wis: 22, Cha 18 (with ring of Human influence). )

And basically I took Korgan, Viconia (who's in romance), Jaheria, Jan and Edwin... Jaheria got imprisoned in the final battle against Irenicus so I picked up Sarevok (which I would have done anyway).

Playing evil can be so cool. For instance you get to do the evil option of having Firkaag's mage kill that little girl and then kill Firkraag. you can also side with the evil owner of the Copper Coronet and kill the slaves. Just think evilly and it comes naturally. By Throne of Bhaal the party is so awesome that battles are seldom challenging.

By the time Edwin's casted Time Stop, Dragon's Breath, Comet and Abizagal's Horrid Wilting if anyone is still alive Sarevok and his Vorpal Sword and Korgan dual weilding the Stonefire Axe and that other +3 axe from the merchant at Ribald's can clean up. My main character being a level 14 Cleric, with Symbol of Talos (from Viconia) can cast two level 7 spells and about 5 level 6 spells makig him a useful secondary cleric. He's now a level 19 mage and with an intellegence of 20 he's more than an adequate secondary mage. What's more with that Elven Armour from the Suldenessar and some +3 shield (can't remember name) he as an AC of -9 and he uses the Flail of Ages, this makes him useful as as a third fighter if ever I need one. Viconia has the Crom Feyer (the ONLY weapon for her, apart from the Mace which gives 18 strength) and is level 26... though still only 3 level 7 spells! Clerics level up quickly but gain spells slowly which is why dualing at level 14 is a good idea. Jan is only useful really as a theif but his diviation spells (that Edwin can't cast) will come in handy sometimes. He makes an adequate second back-up mage (as if you ever need one) very handy for a triple magic missle attack... that can take out an opponent VERY quickly. Jan always dies though and this is a pain in the ass (check my post on the matter)... if I didn't need a thief I'd probably take someone else... Cernd maybe, since Jaheria is 2000 miles somewhere under hell(have you seen Druids at level 15)...

Korgan and Edwin have an interesting relationship... they sort of get on. If you're not in romance with her Viconia tries to pull all the other guys in the party too and that's quite funny... Edwin is a ladykiller I tell you. She also hates Jan which makes for funny dialogue. I haven't had Sarevok for long so I'm not sure how he slots in. I remember in a previous game that Korgan actually gets on quite well with Keldorn.. they argue about whether an axe or a sword is better but after that no qualms.

On yet another side note does anyone know of a better axe than the two I have for Korgan? They seem to be few and far between. Haven't found a single +4 axe yet.
