Alrighty, I just got a new computer, and i installed SoA and ToB. I've been trying to install some mods (the Ease of Use, Item Upgrades, and Solafein NPC mods, which are all from Weimer, i believe), and on all of them, once i've tried to install them, it has claimed there is an error. It said that it can't find 'dialog.tlk in dialog.tlk', but I have the file. What can I do? This is of utmost importance, so If any of you can help, please do so. Thanks!

Where did you extract the mod files? You need to make sure you extract them to the root folder of the game (the same folder that holds dialog.tlk). Extracting them to a subfolder will not work.

Thanks for that, but, Now once I've began to run them, it is encountering errors during the installation: "FATAL ERROR: sys_error<"dialog.tlk: permission denied">

    Can anyone help, please?

Your dialog.tlk file is for some reason flagged as read-only: right-click and remove that property, then try again.

It's not, I just checked. The box next to 'read only' under properties is unchecked.

Plus, it got through at least 1/2 of the installation for each one, but then gave me the error. Thanks anyways.

You also need to turn off the game and *any* editing programs. These will lock up game files that need to be updated.

That is odd, then. You got it working yet?

Actually, I just did! I deleted all the faulty mods, then re-downloaded and re-installed them, and ta-duh!, no issues. Awkward, because before they were flipping out at me, and I didn't change anything from before...

Thank you everyone, for your help!
