Delete PATCH!!!

    Get rid of the override folder? Then again Chitin key, baldurs.ini are also affeted by the patch.
    So... Reinstall

    Why do you want to getrid of the patch, anyways? It is only there to solve problems.

    my friend on the internet doesnt have it and when he installs his patch, it crashes and we want to play together. i just thought there would be an easier way than uninstalling. thanx anyway

    You've got it backwards. Rather than trying to uninstall the patch, you should tell your friend to install it onto his machine.

    Seriously - the patch is almost a must-have.

    It really shouldn't. The patch is pretty essential to the game - has he just got one corrupted download? Ask him to redownload it.

    Hang on - do you mean the patch installer crashes, or his patched version of ToB crashes when you try to play multiplayer? If it's the installer then it should be an easier problem to fix with a little more information, but if the game is crashing, the same thing would probably happen with the unpatched versions.
