    [IMG] I've got 10 run-throughs on hold right now, with six others currently running, and for some reason I'm already thinking about which one will be next. (I blame the ADHD. :shame: )

    The six I have running are as follows:

    Currently in BG1
    </font>
    • BG1 Archer party - Elven Fighter, Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Kivan, Kagain
    • Alexis semi-solo leading to 'perfect' Anomen romance party - Paladin & Imoen in BG1; eventually Paladin, Anomen, Jan, Imoen, Minsc, & Cernd in BG2
    • Heckran (third time through) - Human Thief10->Fighter15 slaughters everything in her path

      Currently in BG2
    • Little People Party - Gnome I/C, Korgan, Mazzy, Jan, Alora (halfling swashbuckler NPC), & Goo (Gauth-looking fighter with 17STR, 20CON, & Gauntlets of Dexterity)
    • Chavesh semi-solo - Monk, Imoen, & (later) Sarevok
    • BoM MP party - Inquisitor, R/C, Barbarian, Monk, K->T, & Swash->Mage
    The ten I have on hold are:
    </font>
    1. Scarab solo in BG1 to 'perfect' Viconia romance party in BG2 (80% of BG1 finished, but I haven't touched it in months) - Half-elven F/T, Korgan, Edwin, Viconia, Jan, & Sarevok
    2. Rhett semi-solo (w/Imoen) in BG1 to 'perfect' Jaheira romance party in BG2 - Human Fighter->Cleric, Jaheira, Minsc, Jan, Imoen, & Valygar
    3. Kivan semi-solo (w/Imoen) in BG1 to 'perfect' Aerie romance party in BG2 - Elven Fighter, Aerie, Jaheira, Jan, Minsc, & Keldorn
    4. Tiax's Redemption - Gnome C/T, Kagain, Edwin, Viconia, Montaron, & Eldoth in BG1; Gnome C/T, Minsc, Imoen, Keldorn, Mazzy, & Aerie in BG2. The basic idea is an evil party in BG1, but then Tiax can only find goody-goodies in Athkatla. He romances Mazzy (mod in progress), and she gradually turns him toward good, culminating in an alignment change at the end of SoA thanks to Revised Hell Trials.
    5. Nature Freaks (hardly original) - R/C, Minsc, Jaheira, Faldorn, Kivan, & Coran in BG1; R/C, Minsc, Jaheira, Cernd, Kivan (NPC mod w/ romance), & Valygar in BG2
    6. MEH party - F/D, Imoen, Ajantis, Kivan, Xan, & Yeslick in BG1; F/D, Imoen (romance), Minsc, Alora (halfling swashbuckler NPC), Wikaede (One-Day NPC cleric), & Cassius (One-Day NPC skald) in BG2
    7. 'Canon' party - Half-elven F/C, Imoen, Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc, & Dynaheir in BG1; F/C, Imoen, Jaheira, Minsc, Haer'Dalis (romance mod in progress), & Sarevok in BG2. Rotating NPCs in SoA as it seems you're meant to, starting with Aerie, who leads you to Haer'Dalis. (And I know most of you wouldn't call some of this canon, but it's my idea, so :p on you.)
    8. Jaheira's Heartbreak (all-female party) - Human Fighter, Imoen, Viconia, Shar-Teel, Dynaheir, & Jaheira in BG1; Human Fighter->Druid, Imoen, Chloe (NPC romance for Imoen), Nalia, Auren Aseph (NPC romance for Nalia), & Viconia in BG2. Jaheira has a tough time in this one, first losing her husband, then her potential love interest twice (Minsc in BG1 & BG2), and finally trying something new but being rejected by my main character in favor of Viconia. She dies of a repeatedly broken heart in Spellhold, making room for Imoen.
    9. Strong & Sneaky (this grew out of the ashes of my failed BG1 stealth party) - Human Thief->Cleric, Minsc, Kivan, Shar-Teel (dualled to thief), Coran, & Montaron in BG1; T->C, Imoen, Minsc, Jan, Fade (NPC romance mod), & Valygar in BG2
    10. Elven Supremacists (all-elf party) - CE Female "Drow" Assassin, Coran, Kivan, Xan (romance), & Viconia in EasyTutu; Assassin, Aerie, Viconia, Kitanya, Yasraena, & Xan (NPC romance mod) in BG2.
    Hoo, that took a while. :grin: So my question before you is: Which one(s) should I focus on? :bad: Quayle is automatic as much as I can (given the story in CS), but what about the others?

    Although I do thing you have too much time in your hands...I think the Taix idea is the best to persue.

    I mean whatever makes you happy ( :nuts: ), is your games anyway, but of them all I can only image Tiax goning from crazy evil to "crazy" goodie-good. :)

    Some updates. The SoA portion for Auren has been released, so that's now nearly a full option, and it seems that neither Kitanya nor Yasraena has any romance, so I've changed that whole idea completely around to just a Xan romance. :heh:

    Bump.
    .
    .
    .
    And notification that I now have yet another party idea. (I just can't stop! :wail: )
    This one is all half-breeds - half-elven Wild mage, Khalid, Jaheira, Indira (mod), Mulgore & Xavia (mod) in EasyTutu; Wild Mage, Jaheira, Haer'Dalis (tieflings are half-demon, right?), Ariena (mod), Kova & Kiyone (mod called Beyond the Law) in BG2. It's a bit divine-light and arcane-heavy in BG2, but I absolutely have to try out a wild mage. :roll:

    From a powergaming perspective, the archer party (currently considering it myself, so I don't have to chose between Firetooth and Gesen anymore^^)
    From a roleplaying perspective, the Shawshank... uh Tiax redemption.

    Is your play CD still intact btw?

    Yeah, it's still intact, and I have a copy of it on my hard drive in case it breaks and I need to burn a new copy to keep playing (specifically OKed in the End User License Agreement). I never be short a disc. :D

    It's just that my mind works overtime when I'm not actually playing. :heh:

    Need more voters. I just finished Alexis (Sarevok was a joke, as always), so she'll be heading to BGII once I get a slot emptied out there. (I only allow a max of three concurrent playthroughs per game to keep me at least semi-focused.)

    So far, the consensus seems to be that I should start up Tiax's Redemption, even though I won't be able to play the BGII part of it until Snowking and Co. over at SHS get the romance together. (Or I could use 8's if she's got it done... :hmm: ) But I still want more input. C'mon, people! As Homer (IIRC) once said: "Tamper, teach, impart." :roll:

    I would finish the Chavesh semi-solo (E) although I don't like monks at all.I have played a similar game and it's interesting from a roleplaying perspective too.
    A Bhaalspawns-party that can be completed with Irenicus (having a part of the Bhaal's essence makes him a Bhaalspawn too) if you install the Longer Road mod,after finishing the SoA part.

    I voted primarily for Tiax without even peeping at the posts. Aren't I a good girl? ;)

    Oh I voted for 3 others but the Tiax one looks interesting especially if one has played ...a lot.

    You ARE a very unusual individual, Felinoid. Why don't you play the game you feel like playing? And maybe finish one?

    That's just it: I feel like playing all of them. And I do finish them; that's what the "three concurrent playthroughs" restriction is for, to force me to finish one before I start another. And I see you haven't voted. :grr:

    I'm liking number 10, the Elven Supremisist Party. I think it would be pretty interesting to play in BG and then up here in BGII. Looks good! If you do focus on this one, make sure to post your progress!

    Btw Fel, you seriously amaze me with your ideas, not so much the fact considering the ideas in general, just the fact that there's SO MANY of them! :D

    UPDATE:
    BoM party is on hold with Alexis taking up that slot and I'm hurrying Chavesh when I have time.

    Elven Supremacists is started in EasyTutu, also restricted by time. I'll probably have to bull my way through the plot quickly or Kivan will start complaining about getting to Tazok. (Damn Tutu. :shame: ) But having my PC being an Assassin was a good choice, as even when I bypassed the crossroads and went straight south from where I killed Imoen ( :evil: ), I got ambushed by four wild dogs. A couple poison arrows took out two of them, a poisoned sword took out another, and the last one got decapitated on a critical hit. Four down all by her lonesome. :D And now she's got Kivan to protect her.

    Tiax's Redemption may be changing a little (only party-wise, not concept-wise) if I decide to have him start in EasyTutu and romance Shar-Teel (who would replace Eldoth). I'm still undecided.

    I also have two more ideas:
    12. Private Army - F/M/T, Kagain, Minsc, Kivan, Montaron, & Shar-Teel in BG1; F/M/T, Korgan, Minsc, Mazzy, Keldorn, & Jaheira in BG2. I want to see for myself how a F/M/T does in a party, and the idea of recruiting companions instead as an army of tanks to be used towards my purposes seemed kinda neat.

    13. Backups - Barbarian, Edwin, Imoen, Xzar, Xan, & Viconia in EasyTutu; Barbarian, Edwin, Imoen, Jan, Aerie, and Viconia in BG2. This is pretty much the opposite of "Private Army", and I have to confess it's not one of my best. I keep wodering about tweaking it in some way to make it more worthwhile. Perhaps placing Dynaheir or Branwen in there somewhere for a romance in BG1, and then maybe some romance with a mod NPC for BG2.

    The problem with having all mages is against foes with magic resistance... you'd have to use Lower Resistance many times, and it would still be a long battle... most of those strong enemies would shred your mages by then. Plus, backstabs suck when you are a mage.

    @Saber:
    And? I don't have any party where everyone is a mage. If you're talking about the Backups party, the idea is that the Barbarian will be up there taking everybody on, while the mages and clerics use their magic or just pelt them with stuff. (Oh, and I forgot to mention that I was planning on dualling Xzar to cleric.) Also, magic resistance isn't that big a deal in BG1.

    When you have 4 or 5 mages. magic resistance isn't that big a deal in BG2. once you get a decent level 2 of them can strip 50 to 60 percent magic resistance off a target in a single turn. If not more once your levels get built up a bit more.

    Area affect spells with good targetting will also be your friend... 4 mages/clerics that cast powerful ones that as long as something isn't immune to magic in some way or immune to the particular elements then you will flatten quite a few things. Some of the golems or things like that would probably be your biggest problems.

    As well as a few bosses. just because of their insane power.

    Another tactic with multiple mages is you get yourself a rythm of timing with your spells and you can rip down several protections with concerted mage effort and then rip into the target with spells once unprotected.
