[IMG] as posted in my reply to the dwarfs rule message

    Elves are simply soooooooo cool.
If you haven't read the Cormyr novel then you should. The elves in it get bored and so decide to go hunting and come acros a huge battle between humans and liches and there undead slaves and so decide to go hunting and they essentially wipe out the evil necromancers entire army. what i haven't said is that there are only about ten elves.
How can they not be the best?

I agree. Elves are the coolest race this side of toril. If they got into another serious skirmish with the dwarves, they'd probably lob dozens of arrows at the stocky dwarves while they were approaching, and as said in "The Hobbit", an elves arrows can hit a bird's eye at night. When the pincushion dwaves reach the elves all injured, they'd be whittled down to kindling by the elven bladesingers.

Why always this Dwarves vs. Elves stupidity?

I'd rather see Dwarves AND Elves fight against evil, (and that's also in The Hobbit and LotR)

In the games currently discussed at these forums, elves look like little sissies. No matter what you put on him, even a male elf looks like a sissy compared to any human female fighter. That's way I only play human, dwarf and gnome from now on.

So who's going to start the "Halflings Rule!" post. Geez all races are great, accept this and end this nonsense.

[IMG] O'course elves bloody rule! The injustice inherent in the elfocratic society is blindingly obvious and physically sickening. Height, pointy ears, and ability to flash a poncy sword about are no valid excuse for such social stratification. From your description of the Cormyr novel, I can see all the stereotypes of elves brought out. Bleedin' aristocratic ponces prancin' about bein' o so wonderful on acount of being "fair and mystical and graceful" and all that rot. It's enough to make an honest dwarf's blood boil. Forward the revolution! Power to the dwarven proletariat!

i dont see what all the fuss is about. Human, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Halfling...in the end they all end up dead so what does it matter?

Oh yea and as just a little side note: i prefer halflings myself...
