[IMG] I've heard many people talk about getting these in the Shaugin City, but in all my run-throughs, I've never come across them. Where exactly ARE they?

If you help the king prevail over the prince he grants them as a reward. If you help the prince, no love.

They're given as a reward by the Sahuagin King for killing the Prince for him. You don't get them if you side with the Prince or just generally rampage through the city.

EDIT: Beaten to the punch by a dawg. Oh, the shame to my species. :shake:

You can't pickpocket them either. At least, I never could.

They are very nice for a monk!

Thanks, all. I've never played a monk, but all the recent monk-talk has me thinking of giving it a try. I usually side with the prince, but on the few occasions I've sided with king, I don't remember him dealing them out. I'll have to pay more attention. ;)

Duh, I never sided with king, he is so idiotic. It makes sense, I think, siding with him is an extremely lawful way, and a nice reward for a monk is appropriate. Helping prince is neutral, I think. Killing them all would be very chaotic though. (but not neccesarily evil)

I also usually side with the Prince - and then kill the Prince as well for the head of the Wave Halberd. The bracers are one of those items you will rarely need: There are no monk NPCs in the game, so unless you happen to be playing a monk as your PC, they are of no value to you.
