Anyone know how to get around the level penalties?
I haven't even tried new races because of these.
Also are there more cheat codes than what are show on this site? It seems to me that you should be able to adjust things like stats with it. I don't like maxed out stats from the get go , but the unalterable amounts given are disappointing.
Please DaleKeeper 2, your our only hope.

theres no cheat to obtain higher abilities but you can hex edit your abilities to whatever you like. as for the level penalties i think there is nothing you can do but use cheats to give you higher xp (kills the fun dont you think?)

i wish theyll release a dale kepper 2!!!!

There is no need to do so, those classes are a bit weaker in the beginning but as the game goes you won't even feal the difference

A one level penalty is not a big deal by a long shot. So, my personal opinion is that any good party is much better for including an Aasimar paladin.

A two or three level penalty associated with races like drow and deep gnomes can become more significant.

If you have the patience for it, the Black Raven monastery has for sale a tome that grants +10,000xp as a one shot deal.

This can be used to erase the gap for such a character, and indeed make it worthwhile to include the special benefits they offer (e.g. Drow have Spell Resistance of 11 + level).

Actually there is a cheat to give you higher ability scores. There are several potions in the game that allow you to increase your attributes. As far as I can remember there are potions to increase every attribute, but most add +1 to one score while taking away from another. However, you can get around this since there is a potion that is +1 to CON with no adverse affects.

    The potions are:
    00POTN94 +1 CON
    00POTN91 +1 STR, -1 CON
    00POTN93 +1 DEX, -1 STR
    00POTN89 +2 WIS, -1 DEX
    00POTN98 +1 CHAR, -1 DEX (I think)

There are also other potions that are:
    00POTN90 +1 INT, +2 magic resistance
00POTN96 +1/+1 for slashing and piercing resistance
    00POTN97 +1 bludgeoning resistance
    00POTN95 +1 magic resistance
    00POTN92 +2 magic resistance

    for clerics only,
00POTN99 +1 WIS, -2 STR (or maybe CON, can't remember)

If you want to juice your characters from level 1, I would suggest adding all your points to CHAR and DEX that way you will not have to modify your CHAR score and the mods to your DEX will not be as difficult. Then, just create a bunch of the CON potions and juice the rest of your stats to where ever you want them to be.

I will post the item codes for each potion later, got to run right now... Item codes posted. I wonder, what is the limit for ability scores now, I know it is no longer 25 because my mage has an INT of 29, but I don't know what the max is?
