Swift Thomas Lost

    I am at the end of the Prologue, after the big fight. I have spoken to Shawford who says to see Ulbrec now. I can not find Swift Thomas. I can go to the world map, but only go back to The Palisade. Any thoughts?

    You can't go back into Targos via the south exit? I usually find Swift Thomas across the tiny bridge next to the trading depot at this point. I think (iirc) I actually say something to the effect of "didn't I last see you at the palisade?" and make some crack about his ability to be underfoot.

    Swift Thomas usually stays on the screen you're in, even if you left him in another area.

    He's by the "office" tent at the palisade. And by the crank hoist on the town area. And down by the shipbuilder dwarf at the docks.

    If he's *not* at any of those locations, then you've got a bug. Scandisk. Backup your save, and reinstall before it gets worse.

    Actually, at this point, after the goblin battle, he wont be at the palisade office - I have only ever seen him at the palisade gates from here on.

    In Targos, he isn't by the crane, which is on the left side of the trading post - he is usually on the tiny bridge to the right of the trading post, just south of the door to Ulrics (sp).

    And while I agree he is usually on whatever screen you are on, even if you left him somewhere else, it *could* be that right at the moment mentioned here, right after the goblin battle, he may not be in the palisade at all, presumably having left it to stay out of danger in the battle.

    Others with more experience may know for sure...

    Swift Thomas can be found in front of the palisade gates to the northeast after the palisade war.
    However, if you leave him in, let's say, docks and go up to palisade, after some time passes he will be in palisade.

    I thank you all. Basically, the solution was that I found the screen change at the bottom of The Palisades at the path where you first arrived. I was able to get to the Town, talk to Ulbrec and return. Swift Thomas was then in the Palisades at the gate in the NW portion.

    Just for my 2 cents...
    Swift thomas doesnt actually move. He is a part of the whole map in the docks, town and palisade after you to the olap tamewater quest.

    All that happens is that you are transported to the swift thomas at the other map point.
