I've gone though the 1st chapter and checked everywhere, but can not find better than a Masterwork Warhammer for my Fighter/Cleric. Where are any good hammers to be found early on? I didnt get the one from Yquog, i got something else

Edit: I have EOU Mod and G3 Tweaks installed.

    I recommend patience.
It's really not worth bothering much if you have a masterwork or a +1 hammer, the difference is very little.

    I realize that.

I took 4 levels of fighter to get 3 points in hammers. Cause in my mind a fighter/cleric uses Blunt weapons. But i don't seem to be finding any new hammers.

Yet my dwarf fighter gets nice axes at every turn lol.

Yay!!! I really like those electric +2 hammers. You get that extra bonus for your +2 hammers for "free" (cost as much as other +2 weapon types without bonus damage).
Some throwing hammers are also great, especially when you feel it's too dangerous to get close.

I forgot how relentless this game is. Its like your always at the edge of what you can handle and always fighting.

And how you level up fast and start kickin ass around level 7-8.

I'm at the end of chapter 2 and I found that the orc fortress was the hardest part. Probably because your equipement is garbage and your wizard has nothing better than color spray.

As soon as you grab fireball its over. The bugbear boss and his gang ate 2 of 'em. They all died except him, and he panicked when he saw his minions croak so fast.

Orc Fortress or Goblin Fortress? More likely goblin...

Anyways, speaking of hammers, my fave would be throwing hammers (the returning kind). I'd buy one everytime I see one ;P

Nice... the only thing I hate about non-returning throwing hammers is the fact that they are cumbersome, I mean waaaay too heavy to bring a suitable supply.

@Half-elven Duergar ... which is why I think that the idea of an enchanted, non-returning throwing hammer is silly. IMHO, the first enchantment that any throwing hammer should get is the returning enchantment.

OTOH, I suppose in an environment where you could pick up your fancy, non-returning TH's after you've thrown them, it might not be such a big issue. Still, the idea of hauling around a bunch of heavy, non-returning hammers seems silly compared to having a single, returning T.hammer.
