You should press the search button in the actions menu, then you have to move around and eventually when you pass near a trap you will see it.

Have you gone near any of the traps? That might be your problem.

[IMG] Are you using the little magnifying glass icon? If you aren't earching for traps, you won't find any.

It also takes a little while to find traps. You have to move 10 feet, stop and wait 10 seconds or so (sometimes longer). It is a slow process searching for traps. Click on the little magnifying glass thingy and take your time. Or, be impatient like me and just send your party along with the strongest guys in the lead and disarm them AFTER you set them off.

Another thing to note is that the Search skill relies on the character's Intelligence score. And especially later in the game, most traps are fairly hard to detect (a minimum Search check of 25). Without any modifers on your character's search skill they would need at least a roll of 14 to detect a trap with a Difficulty Check of 25. Many traps you encounter will have a DC of around 30, meaning you'd need to roll a 19 with that Search skill.
