Has anyone ever noticed that if you save a game in HOF mode and as it states in the manual, it will STAY that way) but then try to change the difficulty, the game becomes VERY interesting! For example, just start a new game with a lv 1 party and then make it HOF game and save it. NOW change the difficulty level back to whatever you normally play and BAM! You've got your regular game BUT with a sh!tload of enemies!!!

I'm currently playing this setup with my solo Rogue/Wizard and it's crazy! I started with a rogue level and i was thinking ... Does the computer just add more enemies in because it knows you're soloing? :p But no joke, it's a great way to experience the game in normal mode with like a million enemies around you! I'm only up to the bridge and O-M-G! I had to haste myself and get to the actual bridge and drop a fireball right in the middle to stop the ogres before I was overwhelmed with NO JOKE about 100+ monsters! I've got a few pics to show y'all too. What is everyone's take on this?

Interesting, I know there are hordes of enemies in HoF, but you simulate in normal, an when soloing. Deal with it! :p

I remember about 10 years ago, when I was young ans stupid... well, I´m not young anymore(and hopefully neither stupid),I´ve played a revolucionary game that just blows my mind: It called DOOM.
I migth have played about 1000 times(no joke) and in some point...I got bored.
I increase the difficult level to the "insane"... and the game looses the whole sense(the monsters keeps respawning), so I leave it.
But somehow, I did something like $ilvershield explains, and the game BECOMES incredible difficult but still doable...I´ve played 100 more times(and THAT´S fun).
Thank you, $ilvershield for bringing those happy memories to me(and if it makes you happy,I´ll gladly try your sugesstion)

Hehe I tries me best :D

No joke though, try it out with a normal level 1 party, or better yet the way I'm playing through it at the moment by going solo and it's GREAT!

Hehe I'm actually doing it with 2 "parties" :D BUT they are both solo

They are basically the same character, Rogue/Wizard, although I used DK for one of them just because that's the first time I've ever used it! (Thanx Silverstar :D )

When I'm at home I'l check on it for y'all cause I'm just at a friends chillin. I can tell you OBVIOUSLY that the DK'd character is having a waaaaay beter time though :D The normal character had to reload once or twice to date and the super one is still going strong :p Be back soon with tha details

Dale Keeper, it's a program used to modify your characters within the game, ie stats, appearance, items. I just figured out about it myself :D It's OK if you don't overstep it ...

Umm, well I've played a Pally/Wiz and I thought that was pretty crazy myself but I wouldn't like to take a Pally/Sorc because of the restrictions (thus not bein able to advance in the Paladin Class again and I like to mix and match the classes during the game). Although I'm really enjoying my Rogue/Wizard because I just love sneak attacks and all that jazz. Team it up with some arcane fire and you've got one powerful character. But that's just my preference.

Did you start the game with a higher level characters? The game adapts itself to the average level of the characters in your party.

Nah I started with a normal Level 1 party. It was still on hard or whatever because I just played a party on HoF mode but WHEN I loaded the new party the difficulty was on hard so I lowered it and saved it ... Thus it had the number of HoF monsters, although just the normal difficulty ...
