It has to be a tie between James Bond for Game Cube or Zelda for the N64.

[IMG] Mine also has to be MGS for the psx. It was just soo good, and replayable several times. Well now i'm hooked on MGS2. Very good, the graphics are just phenominal, and the character desgin as well. The way the models move is so realsitic.
But you cannot overlook the final fantasies. Priceless. Only thing that came close to beating BG on the psx.
BTW what is chrono, because i have heard alot of that game on other roleplay game forums. Is it like FF?

    Hmmmmmmm...

SSx Tricky is neat on the Psx2. Zelda OOT, Turok, Shadows of the Empire, Metal Gear Solid Psx, and probably Mario Kart.

Mario Kart because I teamed up with a friend for about 2 weeks. He'd run the race, I'd take out the competition to give him some breathing room. I'd just hover back and forth over a missle refill, and 'juggle' all the other guys behind him. Loads of laughs!

Chrono Trigger is an old SNES RPG that was revamped sometime ago for the PS 1.
It's a story about a group of time travellers who save the world.
Great graphics(for it's era), great music, quite a good storyline and very memorable characters. ( Yeah, Magus rules!!)
Overall, it's a solid game that console RPGers should not miss.

As of this moment, Grand Theft Auto III(PS2) is my absolute favorite console game. I beat it quite some time ago, but rampaging through the city, murdering and stealing all the while, never gets old.

Heck, just sitting in a car and listening to the radio is fun. And a virtual outlet for aggression and terror-mongering is probably all that's keeping me off of the news and out of prison.

[IMG] METAL GEAR SOLID2!!! On the PS2, absoloutly UNBELIEVABLE!
Also gotta love Wipeout Fusion on the PS2 plus eveery single Final fantasy game.
Was very hooked on Fur fighters for PS2 and Dead Or Alive2 had it's moments.
And pretty much nearly every single recent release on the PS2 seems to be absoloutly brilliant.
Also playing an old PSX title called Koudelka, it's a horror RPG, very classy.

    [IMG] I'm not too into consoles, but I did buy an X-BOX. Problem is the reasons why I bought it haven't come out yet, except for HALO. But, with my limited experience, I have this list, not in order of preference;
    1. HALO
    2. Resident Evil 2
    3. Metal Gear Solid 1
    4. All the Tekens
    5. Red Faction (I played this on a friend's PS2 and thought it was really well done, plus the music was cool and didn't get on my nerves.)
    6. Hon. Mention-BG Dark Alliance. A little short anbd shallow, but great graphics and effects. Very playable but too short. Decent fun.

Other console games I had a taste of but never really played that seemed promising:
    1. Colony Wars
    2. G-Police (I'm sure it sucks, but cool premise).

I'm not really into any new console games (a couple of exceptions: Perfect Dark and GTA 3), as I'm a massive 2D Fighting Game fan, and they don't make them any more. :sosad:

Sooooo, here are my all-time faves:

    1) Street Fighter 2 (any console/arcade)
    2) Virtua Fighter 2 (Sega Saturn)
    3) Marvel Super Heroes (Sega Saturn)
    4) Sonic 1 or 2 (Mega Drive)
    5) Streets Of Rage (Mega Drive)
    6) Soul Calibur (Dreamcast)

In my opinion, a lot of these games still outshine some of the latest console offerings...
