BGI, BGII, Planescape Torment, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, FFX, Chrono Cross, and I can't think of any more. I liked the Diablos alright, but they got on my nerves after a while. There's Starcraft too, but I don't think that counts as a RPG.

    I can't come up with 10.

Might and Magic 4 & 5 - World of Xeen
    Might and Magic VII
    Planescape:Torment
NWN - I know many people didn't like it, but I think it's better than most of the stuff out there
BG2 - Better than the original, IMO

I can't order the games, except for PST is #1.

    Keef the Thief rocked.

It was mostly a slide show world, with a first person/radar combat sequence. Magic, weapons, and thief skills combined.

A lot of the game required you to save and reload. It was fairly fast, even on floppy. The whole point of the game was figuring out *how* to become some really powerful mage/fighter. The thief skills just helped you do that. You had to collect either books and armor (I forget), and put them on a statue, and cast a spell. You became, a KingGod or WizardGod or DemiGod or somethingGod. I forget too.

There was magic. And reagents. Reagents out the keester. You had to buy/steal all the different reagents (there were probably about 20), and mix your own spells scrolls/potions. And you had to find the different spells during the course of the game.

There were a couple of mazes, with one being absolutely terrible. All different kinds of weapons and armour. Charisma and bartering skills came in useful. Lockpicking, detraping.

By the standards of today, it's very ancient. You can still find it on Amiga and Commodore emulators. I messed around with the Amiga one, a while back. Not quite the same as the Apple IIgs, but pretty close.

It's role playing; as role playing as those older games got. I wouldn't call the story intense, but the world was very diverse.

Probably not worth your time today; the interface would only serve to piss you off. But you might lookup some kind of walkthrough, and read about the first and last paragraphs.

    Ultima 7 (parts 1, 2 plus expansions)
    Planescape:Torment
    Fallout 2
    Ultima 4
    Might and magic 7
    Shining force 2
    Baldur's gate (the entire series)
Flame dragon 2 (chinese rpg, don't think many people know of it)
    Final fantasy tactics
    The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind

No particular order, but the first 3 my most favourite, and no other rpg, console or PC, I like more than those 3 (no other RPG I have played can compare with those 3, they are just too....good, to me). A list of 10 is a little hard for me, I had to drop a few other good rpgs. :)

This is no particular order although if i was to order it, it would probably not differ too much. The only other rpg that i can think of but i didnt add was Planescape: Torment because it corrupted all my save files when i had spent hours playing it (something else probably corrupted them but i still blame the game).

    BG
    BG2
    IWD
    IWD2
    Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
    Neverwinter Nights
    Golden Sun
    Fallout
    Divine Divinity
Zelda (cant remember which one but it was on the gameboy)

That would be Zelda: Link's Awakening. I think. A very good game, it was. Really liked the music the girl played in it.

Don't know if you could count them as RPGs but I thoroughly enjoyed
Myst 1& 2(Riven) and the original Metroid a lot; didn't care too much about Myst III though... :D

btw. just started with BG1 and having a lot of fun... ;)
