    Hello:

I'm new to creating mods with the toolset and I was wondering if anyone has been able to create customized armour and weapons. Not just the colour but the whole shape of the weapon. Also this may sound crazy but what exactly is the hak-pak and what does it do?

    thnks

The Item Wizard allows you to create weapons and armor of various shapes, but you are limited to the options provided.

Hak Paks allow user created content (like additional tilesets) to be included in the game.

Some people have indeed managed to create customized weapons. Some i noticed were Nunchucks, Massive Greatswords, and things.

A hak-pak is, as BTA said, a file which allows you to store NWN data in. This 'data' can be anything from new tileset files to a bunch of scripts. The only down-side is that if you use a Hak-Pak in your module you make, anyone playing it will have to have the same pak.

    [IMG] Indeed,

Most I have seen have been built with 3D programs, and I know you can get information on one of them on the Bioware site.

Sorry, I can't give much more information than that, as I've never done any 3d modelling.
