Ok 1st off I need to explain that I have never finished the game. I got caught up w/ CS and have now just returned to BG2 since the expansion was released. I had made it to chapter 6 but lost that previous save. Anyways I got a download that made it possible to romance all Vic, Jaheira, and Aerie at the same time and it worked excellent when I played long ago. So now I have restarted and am in chapter 2 and things are not as I remember so I have a few questions.

1) I am on day 50 and no Dermon for Jaheira yet. I seem to remember it not taking so damn long. I have done the curse and the bird quests early on. What must I do to get this going?

2) Aerie has stopped talking to me. Like nothing since we had the "do you ever want to settle down" talk. What is stalling that?

3) Have already slept w/ Vic but I can't remember what triggers the handmaiden assasin to attack her?

The next few are questions that I could never figure out the answers to.

4) Does Valygar have any other quests besides the sphere?

5) Does Caern have any other quests besides the Shadow Druids?

6) Does Haer'Dalis have any quests beyond the planar prison?

That's it for now, but I am sure I will forget other things and need more help soon

 

4) Valygar had no quests apart from The Sphere when he was in my party - from the very beginning, to the end.

5) Cernd is the one you mean?

6) I think, Haer'd does have an additional quest, though I am not sure of this.

 

Dermon is the guy who launches the Harper stuff with Jaheira, right?

The Readme.txt for the hack said that romances will now progress in dungeons, but that is with the exception of Jaheira's Harper quest. So it's possible that you've just been in too many dungeons lately. Hang around outside for a bit, do some outdoor quests.

 

Haerry had one other one other quest, but it was never implemented into the game. It invoilved a murder Haerry was framed for I believe. Apart from that, there's nothing for Haerry apart from the prison (unless you also have Aerie, but that's not really a quest)

Try walking around Atketla with Cernd in your party, and you will find yourself another quest eventually.

 

Hmm, Dermin is indeed part of Jaheira's romance - harper quest.

You mentioned to have talked to Arie about "settling down" - that's part of her romance. Did your char sleep with Aerie? Maybe you have a romance with her instead of Jaheira, this would explain why Dermin doesn't show up.

You can check it in shadowkeeper but Slappy can give you better advice than I could where exactly to look at.

Ragusa, no I haven't slept with Aerie. Although I did think it was gonna be real soon, but like I said suddenly she just stopped talking.

 

My guess, in sleeping with Viconia, the Aerie romance which was progressing stops. You might have run out of all the normal things to say with her, which left only the ongoing romance dialogue which stopped half-way, leaving you in the lurch so-to-speak.

Perhaps, bring some new NPCs into the party like Korgan or Anoman, and see if she interacts with them or not to see whether it's a bug or just a girl with nothing left to say.
