Update bugs & others

    I've many problem since I reinstall the games:

    1)I've download the official patch from the offical web site and when I try to install it I
    got a message saying "Invalid patch file". I've download the patch on another website and its "seems" to work.

    2)When i quit the game I got a message from Windows saying that the program have met a error and must be closed. And then, I could close this windows

    3)I don't seems to be able to loot the goblin who have Black Jay's Ring.

    4)The npc(Furnok?) who is a gambler, I'm not able to start the quest where you can expose him as a cheater.

    I've reinstall it more than once.
    Got Windows XP SP2, all up-to-dated graphic card and sound card drivers. Direct X is up-to-date.
    P4 1.7 Ghz 512mg Ram

    Numerous problems have been reported with ToEE when running XP SP2 and/or the latest DirectX, but I don't think anyone's isolated the problem yet. I wouldn't hope for a patch anytime soon. In short, you're screwed right now, as there's no fix to get ToEE running OK if you're having problems with it on SP2.

    Yep. Service Pack 2. If you want to play the game, you can't install it just yet. And, if you want to remain halfway "protected" from the internet, you have to install it.

    There are two solutions:

    1. Dual boot.*
    2. Get a second machine.

    Well, I'm going yo uninstall Sp2. Anyway my system is already protected by ZoneAlarme and AVG anti-virus. Going to reinstall SP2 when a patch for TOEE we'll be realease. And I hope that I'll be able to install this new patch.

    I know, that there is many bug because of SP2 but do you speciffically have one of the problem I talk about?
