Imoen's spells aren't usable

    Hi, all. Although I finished BGI, I'm a newbie to this board and to BGII. When I click on Imoen's spell button, all the spells are grayed out. But when I click on the special abilities button, the set traps looks like it should - colored in red and ready to go. Should I re-install the game and start over? I've already installed the patch - it did no good.

    you might be wearing leather armour which she isn't allowed, if you want to use her spells.

    Yeap, was Kunonere was saying if you wear any armor beside elven chain mail it will disable your wizard spells. It should say wizard spells are disable too when you wear armor. Gotta watch for that. However, its no biggy because elven chain mail rocks arse, plus one can cast spells with it. good FUn

    [​IMG] Elven Chain Mail rocks?
    Robe of the Archmagi has the same AC and also gives you +5% MR and +1 to saves.

    Yeah, but magically enhanced elven chain (eg Bladesinger chain or Sylvan Chain) has a better AC than the archmagi robes plus the AC boni/penalties (+2 bonus vs slashing/piercing and -2 penalty vs crushing I think) that all chain mail has.
