[IMG] Someone told me about this...Then I found the article with the picture. Take a look: WTC attack toy

Needless to say, this is in incredibly poor taste. It's like making a car/suicide bomber video game - You just don't do it!

    From the article:

In poor taste, but what you get in the rush to import cheap goods without QA.

Really have to wonder who they robbed to manufacture these -and why they decided to import them to USA of all places. :shake:

Poor taste and lack of common sense indeed.

Reminds me of a Southpark episode where everyone has to wait so many years before the idea of AIDS is funny. Still, I don't see how anyone could make these without intending of pissing someone off. And why they would export them to America is just asking for a swift kick to the teeth.

Few days back I saw a report about a some kind a park in the USA where you could shot Sadam, Osama and some terrorists, and if you shot them (Sadam or Osama) you get more points. There was a sign in the entrance where says something like it was no offence to them but just a game.

Whatever they say won't change the fact they're making cash off someone's dignity. When it's funny, well... it's funny. When it stops being funny, it's just lamentable and speaks volumes about the author of the "joke" and not the object of it.

Leeches like those who make the WTC attack toys are cancer on the body of a society and one that can't be removed so easily. You cut one cell, another one pops up to take the place.

If something like WTC is fodder for toy companies, where are the "OJ in a Bronco with gloves and knife" or "Michael Jackson doll with bonus young boy" toys? I just wonder why they didn't kinda build up to it. But I guess, if you're gonna go down in flames and have so many people despise you, what better way to go out than with something as offensive as this?

It is disturbing how insidious terrorism can be. Young children who receive the toy will play with it with no knowledge of the true meaning of their plaything. The horror is for the parents or other adults who find the toy and get the real message. The underlying threat is even more horrible. The terrorists are alluding to the fact that they can reach our children right under our noses. If they can easily circulate these toys, what else are they able to circulate while we turn a blind eye?

EDIT: apparently there was a small Bin Laden portrait circulating in small toys as well.
