I guess this belongs in the Sensorium, since it's about a filmmaker.

Anyway, I'm sure you all know about the (in)famous Uwe Boll, director of such groundbreaking, spectacular films such as Bloodrayne, Alone In The Dark, and House Of The Dead. Of course, he has a LOT of critics, mostly due to his films being the cinematic equivalent of toilet roll, and he decided to prove the quality of his drecting skills the best way he knew how.

And that is, of course, getting his 5 main critics and PUNCHING THE HELL OUT OF THEM. Yep, he challenged them to boxing, of which he was a champion at some point, or something. So, on the 23rd, he beat the hell out of five pasty critics (none of whom were given prior training, and one of whom was 17 years old) therefore proving that he is great.

Oh yeah, there's a great explanation of what happened in the Wikipedia article on him, and why it makes him even more of a prick than before here.

Never heard of him. I thought he was a former England forward.

Like Brando said in Apocalypse Now "The horror! The horror!"... And on allmovie.com, the critic said this about Alone in the dark : "Taken as the next step in junk cinema however, this sucker should hold all of its cult followers over until Boll's next award-winning project hits the screen, BloodRayne -- yet another video game adaptation that's sure to stink up theaters and living rooms for years to come."
