    chevalier, that may be a bit harsh. After all, he's asking people currently on the Boards, whereas your link is from 1½ years ago. I'm all for using the search feature for looking up information (that's why it took me so long to join), but IMO polls are a different matter.

    Edit: Coincidentally enough, there is a current thread here which addresses (although not by design) the exact same question of pointless posts; check out Tal's reply.

    Well, I weren't here then, so I guess no one is going to hang me if I reply. :p

    I dislike Anomen because of his attitude, and Haer'Dalis of the same reason. Of the two, no doubt, Anomen is the bigger guess-what-I-mean .

    Not true at all. When compared to the other two mage/thief characters (Nalia and Imoen), he beats them both hands down. Both Nalia and Imoen are slightly better in casting ability because they advance faster as mages and have higher int scores, but Jan's gadgets, theiving and improvable backstabbing make him much more versitile, epsecially when combined with his thieving abilites. Besides, his specialist mage status makes up for the spell count he lacks from a 16 Int. Plus, there are other benefits that I can't go into in this particular forum.

    But I guess it's preference.

    My least favorites are Anomen and Cernd.

    This sort of takes off from the other post of grade the NPC, but I will repeat a little. Nalia and Aerie are the only two I believe deserve less than a B-. Cernd gets a D without the shapeshifter rebalance mod, but, with it, he's fine.

    [BTW - Try to spell the names correctly and, if you are looking for the most hated NPC, don't say NPC's. If you are allowing more than one choice, enable that feature.]

    i nearly hate them all. really. some have annoying voice files, some got idiotic text to say and most got lame stats only minor-fitting to their class (minsc aerie anomen haerdalis etc.etc.).

    maybe i can only say whom i LIKE : korgan edwin viconia, maybe jaheira because of some nostalgy and she's quite useful, good romance and npc quest.

    Cernd - Useless, without Shapeshifting mod in SP.
    Haer'Dalis - Even weaker than Cernd.He also looks like gay with his fashion and "my raven" stuff.

    Who do I hate the most? Korgan would have to be one of the top on that list. But I think Hear' Dalis, Viconea and Yoshimo would also have to be around the top somewhere.
    Why you ask.
    Korgan, well h'es an evil dwalf who is... evil.
    Hear' Dalis has a horrible attitude. And his voice is pathetic.
    Viconea's a evil slut.
    Yoshimo, once again I hate his attitude, not only the fact he betrays you, because even before I knew this I disliked him.

    Jan would also come pretty high on this list. I find his storys, no matter how funny they are, a waist (sp?) of my time.
    And then Edwin would be right up there as well if it weren't for his great way of insulting people.

    I hate Minsc. He is the only character I have never used in a party. I'd actually take him if he had a quest, but he is so pathetic that he does not even have that. I hate Minsc.

    He is totally useless and can contribute no more than 3000xp to my game at any time.

    I hate Minsc.

    This is a rant so don't reply if you disagree.

    I hate Aerie.

    Even with the sound off, she's annoying. Every 5 seconds she's saying "blah blah blah my wings oh no I hate everything pity me please or else I'll piss and moan again in 10 seconds".

    Except with better punctuation.

    Cernd...he's a damned useless NPC!! I simply hate him...and I only use him to complete his quest(sorry..SPOILER!!!!) to retrieve his son! Without his quest he's quite a trash!
