[IMG] I have maybe used somewhat 5+ hours on downloading TDD and SoS again and again and again. All the version provoked a NSIS error, which I couldn't overrule with a /NCRC command line
Finally I found good old WeiDU v's of the mods, they were however of an older version, so I couldn't combine them with the 'Big Picture'.

    *Sigh*

I don't have any viruses, worms, or similiar, afaik that is; so if that ain't the reason as to why the NSIS error occured, would could it then be?

In my humble opinion TDD is not worth the time since it has some bugs and messes a good deal with the game . At least you should awoid that mod, but I don't know about SoS. :p

Too late ;) If you had spent all those hours I've spent on making it work altogether (Still can't get Big Picture working), then you wouldn't give up on it neither, ne?

Cut your losses and get out while you are ahead of the game olimikrig. A line like your's is what one says before being completely wiped out in blackjack. Forget the BP man!

Well, you could do what I did, and find a broadband connection with which to download the mods. I spent weeks getting every mod I could find, then days trying to get them to work. I did eventually get BP to work, and on several different computers too!

Once I'm finished playing this run-through, I'm switching over to the newer, WeiDU versions of it all, which doesn't even need BP. It purports to let you run BGT, DSotSC, NTotSC, SoBH, SoS, TDD, TS, NEJ 1 & 2, and a host of other updated mods all at the same time, whereas BP requires older versions of some of them in order to work.

My advice: take your time, make sure you have the latest copies of everything, read every installation guide you can find, and try at least three or four times. That's what did it for me...

    Good luck!

And TDD on top of that. Can't make those WeiDU versions I found work together (major game crashes), so I'll guess I'll just go for SoS this time, in try some other things later on

EDIT: Oh, and did I say that TDD wiped my dialog.tlk and chitin.key files from of off the face of my desktop, twice!

ARGH!!!Lady luck, why hast thou abandonded me? Am I now more worthy of thy gaze?

    *Shrugs*

Now it would seem that BP was installed (or partly), and that I would have to deal with yet another irritating issue of having to install and uninstall the cr*p yet again.

Where do you find/download SOS? I looked on SP and other sites, but couldn't find it.

There is a shadows over Soubar download on SP. I believe it's in the TeamBG tools section (the download is very slow however). You can also find it here, fileplanet, fileshack or any similiar place got it too. Try to Google it!

    *Sigh*

Gave up on mods. BP ruined that for me :( have used ~10 hours today, an has achieved zero...

This is why most modders recommend that people stay away from BP.
