Sluggish performance

    [​IMG] I bet you it is any type of virus scan you have running. I have seen countless problems with any virus scan running on 2000/XP machines. If you don't want to turn it off completely, try setting it not to scan the BGate directory so it isn't scanning the cache at least all the time.

    You can also buy back anything you sold later on if you find you got rid of something you needed:) Just make sure you can get back to that place;)

    lo and behold, it was my virus scanner... mcafee virusscan...

    It was set to disable the system scan and just cover the email and internet scan... the program only caused problems in the underdark... and windspear hills... (I went to windspear hills after the underdark) no other problems...

    ah well... now I know.
