Will you loose your thief guild if you join Bodhi? Is it true you can't get the chapter 2 quest's when going to chapter 3?
If so does "the door close soon" as Valen say, or can you join at any time?
Will all the vampire/thief fights at night stop, when you choose to join one of them?
I remember there are some fun dialoge options I would really like to try now I'm evil...I decided my new character (inspired by Wally) will always choose the most cliche villainous lines.

From a walkthrough, what can be found on this site: "Also, if the main character is a Thief, then Bodhi won't offer you a job at all" The fights will stop after you join Bodhi's guild, though sometimes shadow thieves can attack you.And you can have all of Aran Linvail's stuff...

Personally I always join the Shadow Thieves...

The thought of allying with vampires just strikes me the wrong way.

I think I am naturally a "neutral good" person, because I always attempt to manage to play a chaotic evil player and end up having Edwin and Viconia leave my group. I dont have the heart for cold blooded murder... even in a video game! Curse high popularity...

I think the ways of accepting jobs from your second-worst enemy is always wrong, good or evil.

But you don't know that yet, right? But still I have always accepted the thieves' offer, twice of the same reason as Caliban, once because I was a thief myself, and once because I waited too long, so Bodhi never showed up in the Graveyard.

And as far as I know, you'll still be able to get the chapter 2 quests in chapter 3.

I think a character would have to be a real moron not to figure out the vampires were in league with Irenicus, since you saw them in Irenicus' dungeon and it was quite clear they were the guild who was fighting the Shadow Thieves.

Then again, it is possible to role-play a real moron. (-:

You can lower your reputation a bit without committing foul murder. Stealing from shopkeepers and getting caught works. Using the Slayer works. It is kind of silly that your NPCs leave just because your reputation is high--there are LOTS of evil people with very high reputation out there.

I actually once lost 8 reputation points for what I thought was an act of mercy--killing the torture victim in the Shadow Guild. I tried to kill the torturer and then quickly realized it was impossible, so I reloaded and killed the tortured man. He was just going to be slowly tortured to death over the next week anyway, according to the torturer, so I thought it would be kinder to give him a quick death while Aerie was distracting the torturer. Apparently the game mechanics did NOT agree that that was a non-evil action. (-:

Looking back its strange that I got Edwin to even join my group when I had a reputation of 20. I wish I didnt get him but I wrongly thought I needed a mage to cast the scrolls of protection for fighting Kangaxx
