[IMG] Hi people. Well, I'm just trying to get spell trigger scroll, but I don't find it. I'm looking in every place and I'm near the end of the game, but nothing. Also the imprisonment scroll, but I think that perhaps ribald could have some one. hakeashar scroll is also away from me. Are only this scrolls, all the others are on my mage book, I think.

Also I have the doubt that Doom spell is cumulative. And if it is, what other spell are cumulative also, because in the spell description the only one that say so is the ones with lower resistence efect.

    :( :(

Well, i know for a fact that you can buy freedom scrolls down in the underdark from the duergar. If you are a drow, they will let you have more access to the stuff they have. I think they have a haekashar and an imprisonment. If you have left there, then i would suggest watchers keep. Loads of goodies there.

Im not sure about doom, but i know that malison and lowe resistance are cumulative.

    helpful?

Doom effects are cumulative. I would think that Pierce Magic and Pierce Shield would also be cumulative for their lowering resistance effect.

For the 9th level spells, have you checked with the woman on the 2nd floor of Ribald's shop? She sells scrolls also, though I can't remember if she has 9th level ones. Also there is a shopkeeper in the northern part of Waukeen's Promenade that sells scrolls.

-Spell Trigger and Imprisonment: Ribald's in Chapter 6.

-Summon Hakaeshar: Root around a bit, you might get it as random loot.

The first time I ever played the game, I actually found Spell Trap AND Spell Trigger as random loot on some monsters or people in the Temple Sewers! Of course I couldn't actually use them for a long time at that point if i scribed them... grrr... so i kept them spare - don't know if i ever did scribe them in that first game!

There's a whole bunch of level 9 scrolls in the elven city (i'm not even going to try spelling it out =)), but I can't remember if imprisonment is among them.

Yes, most 9th Spells is in Suldanesslar, Ribald has a decent pack (after you return from the Underdark), and the duergars in the Underdark has Freedom and I think Meteor Swarm, plus some others.

As for Summon H., it's random loot, but I think that Lady Yuth (the woman in Ribald's) has one.

Summon Hakeashar is random loot. Lady Yuth hasn't got this spell (at least not in my game, and I went specifically there to buy that spell :( ). Ribald's got a couple of level 9 spells (I think imprisonment is one of them) but if you don't want to spend your money on spells then wait till the elven city

The wizard in the underdark (that you free with the freedom spell) who opens the elemental plane gates later on has a couple of scrolls.. He will give you one or two if you help him, but even more if you kill him ;) Don't remember what scrolls tho.. But at least one of them is a level 9 scroll :)

I just came across a Summon Hakeashar scroll in my game, albeit in an evil way.
I had a despised reputation and talked to Jaheira at the docks. A bunch of harpers (Jaheira included) attacked me.
One of them had the hakeashar scroll, and I really don't think it was just a random treasure. It doesn't seem random because I found the Arrows of Slaying on one of them, and THAT is not random for sure (because I've never ever found those before).

A good way to get scrolls is drop your rep so gaurds start forming and attacking you. Almost always 1 or 2 decent scrolls are dropped, with the bonus of lots a suits of full plate and quality exp to boot.

    Keep casting spells in Athkatla.
The cowled jerks get pissed off and attack, kill them, rest, repeat.
You should get some nice scrolls, provided your party can handle the cowled wizards.
If you do this enough, some high level cowled wizards who actually have names    will appear and proclaim that they are some of the highest cowled wizards come to finsh you once and for all, or at least that's the jist of it.
They should have nice scrolls. Can't remember, as I haven't taken the time to kill them repeatedly since the first time when I discovered this.

    Summon Hakaeshar: Random Loot only.

Imprisonment: AFAIK, cannot be obtained in game. No merchants have it, and it does not drop anywhere. Check Carlig after you become a drow, but I doubt it.

    Spell Trigger: Random Loot only.
