    I'm very frustrated.

I've downloaded a very cool wild mage mod. Of course, I can't actually PICK it.

Are there ANY mods that will allow one to disable or remove specialist mage kits?

    Thanks!

What wild mage mod? It should come with instructions on how to enable it.

    What Taluntain said.

If it is a situation where you have installed more than 9 mage kits from mods and the kit doesn't show up because of the hardcoded GUI limit, I think Ashes of Embers has a "Mod Kit Remover" component - and I know Divine Remix has a "Remove All Kits Including Default BioWare (tm)" component and a "Remove All Mod Added Kits But Leave The Default BioWare (tm) Ones" component.

But before you start using those, check the docs with that new kit very carefully, and make sure you understand how it gets applied. And check to make sure you haven't overloaded the install with kits, and that you can't solve it by uninstalling an unneeded kit or two from the other mods in the install.

    cmorgan,

That's what I get for trying to figure this out at 12:30 a.m. in the morning; frustration.

I'll have to check that divine remix thing, and see if it will remove (hide) those pesky mage kits. It's not like I use them anyway...

I assume that I'll have to remove them first using that component, THEN install any kits afterward. Pity I'm at work currently...

(I am amazed at the fast response! Of course, I went to bed immediately after posting...)

Thanks for your help! (Both of you)

I'd really recommend checking out the readme for that wildmage kit. The only wildmage kit I know of is applied in a special way under certain circumstances, different from how one would normally select a kit.

I found the readme...buried in the downloaded folder. Wow, what an INTERESTING way of becoming a mage...

Well, now I know. Somebody shoot this thread. And me.

    Thanks again for your help.

Nah, it is all good - and a good helper note to help remind folks to always inspect the packaging before purchasing, and peruse the instruction manual before installing. Wish I had done that myself before I installed the downsatirs cabinets :D
