Helm of Opposite Alignment??

    1) Can someone tell me where to find this item (saw it in an eq listing...wondering where the heck it is)
    2) Does it have any effect on NPC dialogs? Could you like...stick it on Viconia and make her a good girl? Hehehe.

    I have experimented with the Helm of Opposite Alignment, to see what happens. I put it on Korgan, and he was as nasty as ever. All his dialog was still 'evil'. This is because the Helm of Opposite Alignment is not meant to be in BG2, and there is no dialog written to support such an alignment change. Since Korgan was supposedly "lawful good", he did make 'happy' sounds at having a high reputation, but what he said contradicted a good alignment. It works in that they won't leave the party for a high reputation, but it doesn't work in truly changing the character's personality. Same for editing alignment with Shadow Keeper.
