    My problem is this: after freeing Haer Delis from Marketh (Sp?) my party returned to the playhouse in order to do the Planar Prison quest but there were 2 surprises:

    1. The Sigil troup had already left.
    2. Mr. Thunderburp gave my Dwarven F/CL advice on how to run the playhouse which he had apparently already accepted as his Stronghold - probably while I was looking the other way.

    Something got skipped here and I can't figure out how this happened. The components from TweakPack which allow multiple Strongholds are not installed. The Spoiler tags contain the Weidu log:

    I know that my Weidu log looks like somebody got carried away but to my defence I should add that I played my last game on a very similar installation and it was a surprisingly smooth run. This installation is completely fresh, I just updated the mods and added Assassinations and some NPC's.

    So, can anybody think of a reason why this happened? Is there some SK magic to turn back the wheel and allow me to enter the Planar Prison?
    Any help is much appreciated - thank you in advance.

    Fighter/Cleric? The Playhouse as far as I recall is a Bard stronghold. Sounds like something has gone seriously wrong with your mod installs. All I can suggest is to load a save before you even enter the playhouse and try removing mods one at a time in reverse order - hopefully this will eliminate the problem.

    OK, I've checked the variables of my current game with SK and found these:
    HAERDALISMOVE=1
    HAERDALISFREE=1
    HAERDALISPLOTSTARTED=1
    RAELISJOB=1

    After checking a save game from an older runthrough I added PLANARPRISON=1 to my current game and was almost able to recreate the situation when you return to the playhouse and give the gem to Raelis. She initiated the dialogue that would lead to her summoning the portal but unfortunately HD wasn't there and so the dialogue script got broken. There must be at least 1 more variable with a reference to HD that puts him next to Raelis in the playhouse. I found HAERDALISFIVEFLAGON=1 in the older save but that was a game with HD as a party member and adding it to my current game didn't change anything. I also repeated the fight with Mekrath hoping that the bug would not show up again but the variables remained the same.
    Maybe if somebody had a save game after retrieving HD from Mekrath but before returning to the playhouse and could check if there is another variable with a reference to HD the situation could still be resolved.

    I'll check at home, I have two games open after doing this quest. One with Haer'Dalis in my party and one where he isn't. I'll edit this post in a few hours with the result. I could of course recreate the scene with an edited game to see what happens. Shouldn't take too long.

    I've had problems with mods before, that's why I usually avoid them. If you send your savegame to aeonslegend @ yahoo.com I could match the variables with my game.

    Here's the variables as they must be present in your game:

    HAERDALISFREE=1
    HAERDALISMOVE=1
    HAERDALISPLOTSTARTED=1
    RAELISJOB=1
    SPRITE_IS_DEADMEKRATH=1

    You also must have posession of the Portal Gem (MISC6X.ITM)

    Other than that you should be fine.

    I also noticed that when I went into the FFI the cutscene with Haer'Dalis and Raelis would commence. When I told them I didn't find the gem yet, it set HAERDALISFREE=2. So you might want to try that one as well. You should then be able to enter the FFI and talk to Raelis and HD should be standing next to her.

    If all else fails you could always edit HD into your party and trigger the event that way. He'll be spirited away afterwards anyway which will allow you to restore your original party.

    Hey, that worked! I only had to CreateCreature HD into the scene, he didn't even have to be in the party, he just had to be in the room and the cut scene proceeded as normal. Thanks a lot for the help!

    Yeah no prob. I can only imagine the annoyance of a broken quest. Happy gaming.
